Fran Madaraki is as peculiar as her appearance would lead you to believe: despite her innocent
looks, Fran's medical prowess far exceeds that of most regular doctors. In fact, she and can do almost anything her
patients ask her to, from reattaching severed body parts to even reviving the dead! But it all comes with a price, as
Fran's belief that "life should be preserved at ALL costs", along with her at-best questionable moral code, often make
for a fate worse than death for the ones she operates on.
Unlike the covers, the series features little
nudity and 99% of the time it's not of a sexual nature.

FF is definitely among my favorite manga: there's just the right amount of gore and humor, not to mention the plot twists at the end of every chapter. While it may seem lighthearted at first, it really does teach some good lessons about morality...which should be taken with a grain of salt, seeing as this is the naive and (too) optimistic Fran we're talking about.
